4th of July Outfit Idea, What I'd Probably Wear

I can hardly belief that July 4th is next week. I say this because I feel like the girls just got out for summer break and here we are, already a month in. I just hope July slows down a bit. All while realizing other parents are probably ready for school to start back up…. We don’t really have any plans for the holiday, but I assume whatever we end up doing will include a few friends and bbq, of course.

This top is the absolute cutest, I got it on sale last season which is somewhat of a problem. Because it’s my job as a blogger to share trendy items with you. And this is especially tough when items sell out. The good news, is that I practically found the same top at Old Navy. It is also on sale under $15 and comes in four other colors.

I only dared share this top with you today, because it’s one that I worn a few times this season. Yes, it’s that good! I wore it with my favorite mom jeans and lace up sandals; a look that is perfect for a casual dinner date. If you have a fun skirt – maybe a denim middi skirt – you could pair it with it and block heel sandals for a brunch outing. If your style is more casual chic, pair it with your favorite shorts, sandals and a summer bag. Something similar to how I did in today’s post. If you’d also wear this for the upcoming holiday and you’re feeling festive, add a red headband to complete the red, white and blue look. 😉

A tip, owning a straw bag is a great idea and somewhat of a summer must-have. These always come in handy when looking to add texture to an outfit. They can almost instantly elevate any summer look.
