The last couple of days have actually felt like fall. Which is honestly surprising for Houston. So, I thought I’d share this fun Camo tunic c/o Tickled Teal. It’s just under $20 which I think it’s a great price point. Though I wore it with a tied knot, it can easily be styled differently.
Fall is for Jeans… and I’m bringing out all my favorites. These black mid-rise jeans c/o Mott & Bow are my go-to because they fit me like a glove and go with almost anything in my closet. You may remember them, as I have styled and shared them in the past. They’re fully in stock and the best part is that besides picking your size you can pick between a 26 & 30 inseam. I am linking them below so that you can get to shopping. 😉
Last week’s favorite:
To Be Bright not only is she sharing a darling denim skirt look but also touching a the topic of sexism in Tennis. Head over to her blog to see what she has to say.
Stripes are always in! And these my friends are some of my favorites. When I saw this top, I immediately added it to my cart. While, I don’t usually spend much on t-shirts this once was worth every penny (it’s under $40, don’t let me scare you). I have wore it quite a bit and this is just one of the looks. I also wore it with my denim skirt and shorts. I’ll make sure to share other ways to wear this gorgeous tee. In the meant time, I’ll leave you the link below so that you can check it out, along with other items in my look. 🙂
Have you noticed a red trend on the blog lately? This is the second red look I’ve shared with you in a matter of week! I guess I’m loving pops of red lately, and wonder if I will continue on this trend… Either way, I thought I’d share this pretty red top with you.
I love the fabric, it’s pretty breezy. The tie front detail and the color, of course. I paired it with my favorite high waisted jeans – which made me chuckle because I used to love low rise jeans for the longest. I’m not sure when that changed but high-rise is the way to go. 🙂 I shared the Mocs before and will likely share them over and over as it starts to cool down.

When it comes to back to school, shopping for clothes with Nayelli is my favorite activity. I just love seeing how she lights up when she finds a piece that speaks to her style. I know that back to school is more than outfits, so I first shop for supplies, plan meals, etc… That way when all that is done, we can have some real fun shopping for outfits – it’s like a reward for us!
This year we did our shopping at OshKosh B’gosh, where we found many items that matched Nayelli’s personality; from fun graphic tees to cool jeans. While she is very stylish, I always suggest items that I think she will love and guide her on how to wear a single piece different ways. This allows her to feel that she has a say when it comes to her style. She really enjoys putting outfits together and had a lot of fun shopping at OshKosh, because she was able to mix and match pieces to create unique outfits. You can see how she used the same denim skirt and created two different looks.
SMILE! It’s almost Friday! Even better it’s a long weekend. What plans do you have? We are still deciding what to do. Hopefully we come up with something fun. Speaking of fun… How fun is this graphic tee? I love graphic tees because they can be dressed up or down.
I’m linking some of my favorites below. This one caught my eye because of the quote but also the rosy color. I paired it with my new favorite jeans (also linked), and booties that Forever Young Shoes sent me. As always, I keep the accessories to a minimum – which usually works well. 🙂 What’s you opinion on graphic tees? Let me know in the comments!
Happy Thursday! Although it’s not fall just yet, I wanted to share some fall floral with you. This top has been in my closet for some time, and I wore it at least once before. As the season changes, I start looking for pieces I could wear to transition into fall. I came across this one and thought it’d be the perfect fall piece. The deep red and dark floral print gives off all kinds of fall vibes in my opinion. What do you think?
Since this is a transitional look, I am wearing my favorite white sandals. I thought they gave the look good contrast. As for the accessories, I kept it minimal! Sometimes less is really more – as cliche as it may sound. 🙂 As always, I’m linking similar items below for you to shop.
