If you think that wearing black jeans is only for fall and winter, you’re wrong. I wear jeans all year long, even black jeans. Today, I thought I’d share how I styled these black jeans for spring. Pairing the jeans with a floral print definitely helped to transition them into the new season. I mean, nothing says spring like florals, right? These skinny black jeans are from 1822 Denim, it’s one of the two pairs that I now own. Let me tell you that I love them. They are super comfortable and great quality jeans. 🙂
Adding lighter accessories like these gorgeous beaded earrings – which I’m linking below – seemed like a good idea for styling these black jeans. And a bamboo bag, which is the perfect spring accessory and one that can also be worn well into summer was a no brainer. I personally think that wearing sandals with any look, instantly transforms it and makes it spring/summer friendly. So I decided to pair the jeans with these block heel sandals that I bought recently for under $20 and come in four colors. I am linking everything above because most items are well under $50. So check them out and get to shopping! 😉
Happy Monday you guys. I don’t usually post on Mondays but today’s post is special because we are celebrating Ada’s birthday with a special link up! Make sure to check it out below and see what other bloggers sharing. Today’s outfit is a fun one! It involves four trends that you can wear now and in the summer; off-the-shoulders tops, paper-bag shorts, espadrilles and straw bags. This is the perfect combination for both spring and summer!
I have been doing a little bit of shopping at Burkes Outlet; and found the cutest romper which I shared on Instagram a few days ago along with these fun paper-bag shorts. I thought they would look perfect with this off-the-shoulders top. Even though you have seen this combination before – on this post – I had to share it again. I guess I just love the way off-the-shoulder tops and the paper-bag style looks together. 🙂
Espadrilles and straw accessories are also my go-to when the weather warms up. I got this bag online for under $40 last year, and I have to say that it was a great buy. I have worn it so many times and it’s back in stock, in case you’re looking for a similar bag. The espadrilles, I’m loving because they’re super light and comfy unlike a pair that owned before. The statement earrings, I also shared before and I have been wearing them so much lately. I love that they’re handmade, and each one is somehow unique. I think they would make the perfect gift too, so if you’re interested click over to Audra Style. I’m linking the entire look below in case that you see something that you want to buy! 😉
If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw that I shared my new FitFlop Rally in Platinoyesterday. I have been wearing them so much more than I had imagined I would, when I bought them! They are just SO COMFORTABLE and stylish, that I don’t mind wearing them all the time. 🙂 So, I thought it would be fun, if I shared how to wear metallic sneakers this spring. I have already put together some looks and think I will be able to pair the sneakers with many more.
A Denim Skirt
Jeans skirts and sneaker are not a new trend, they’re a classic look really. Because I have been wearing this little denim skirt quite a bit this spring, I figured it would look super cute with these metallic sneakers. In this look I also wore an H&M tee that is under $5– yes, you read that right! H&M’s conscious line has some great finds for very low prices. I styled this look with one of my favorite handbags by Melie Bianco and if you use code NEW50 you can save 50% on www.meliebianco.com
It’s dress season you ladies! But really, does anyone else love wearing dresses in Spring? I do and luckily I have been finding some great options at very affordable prices. I found this blue stripes dress on Amazon for under $20. While I know that shopping at Amazon can be a hit or miss, I think this was a good buy. The fabric is similar to linen, the print is eye catching and the details – like the buttons are just so cute. I also love the sleeves, deep v-neckline and the open back.
This dress is so darling and perfect for brunch or even a fund dinner date. I usually lean towards neutrals and simple accessories but the dress could also be accessorized with more colorful tones. 🙂 The handbag, I have shared several times now, it’s become my go-to and everyday bag. The block heel sandals are my favorite because of how comfortable they are. I am linking everything as usual and then some additional dresses that I have my eye on. 😉
Hi guys! Easter is already this weekend, which means we are also closer to the end of April… Wow time is going by so fast. Before signing off for the weekend, I wanted to share this super fun shirt dress that I picked up while doing a round of returns and exchanges. Funny, huh? I’m supposed to return and exchange but end up bringing new items home. No wonder my husband teases me by saying, “you must have had another credit for what you just bought!” 🙂
So, this dress comes in two colors; this olive tone and black. I love that it has ruffles at the sleeves, it’s such a feminine touch. The fact that it ties in the front is perfect because it helps accentuate the waist. I paired this darling dress with the wedges I bought for $20 and shared on my last post. 🙂 I don’t know about you but I love finding dupes and these are so similar to the ones here that I felt like I hit the jackpot! 😛 The fun bagI also picked up while running my errands and I don’t regret it because I think it will be the perfect accessory to wear through summer. I’m linking all items below as always! 😉
This flat iron was gifted to me for this review but the content and opinions expressed here are my own.
You guys, I’m so excited to share my newest obsession in the hair care department with you! If you’ve been following for a while, you know that I love my CHI Haircare Tools. When I learned that CHI Haircare’s Spring 2019 Hair Tool Launched with 5 new options, I couldn’t wait to check it out. The one pictured here is the new CHI Paint Party 1″ Flat Iron, which has been my go-to so far this spring! Not only do I love the fun design but also the fact that it brings a gorgeous gold fanny pack, the perfect accessory for upcoming travel. Plus, it is now available at JCPenney, in stores and online. 😉
My love for CHI has a lot to do with the fact that one tool can be used to create multiple hairstyles, from silky smooth strand to curls or waves. While straightening hair, it works to reduce frizz which is a big deal in humid Houston. 😛 Other features that make me a fan are its six heat settings, automatic shut off and 11 feet cord.
