It is true that once you have little ones everything changes. Everything from the amount of hours you sleep to when you bathe, to the way you look. 🙂 But just because you have little ones doesn’t mean that you have to stop trying to do things that made you happy. For me, there’s something about getting dressed that has always made me happy! And I don’t mean dressing up in gowns and such, even though that’s a lot of fun too! I mean just getting dressed in general, wearing a casual chic looks like this simple Babydoll Top paired with jeans and my favorite sandals.
This look is perfect enough to have brunch like we did on this day but comfortable enough to run errands with mini-me. This same top, could be use to create a day to night look. I mean, think wedges, statement earrings and a clutch. Pieces that are versatile like a good babydoll top are a must this spring! Plus, there’s just something so delicate and feminine about babydoll tops, am I right? I am linking a few favorites below that are very similar to the one that I am wearing. You will also find other pieces in my look from the sandals to the denim. 😉 This is the second post in my Momiform Outfit Idea series. If you missed the last one, you can check it out below!!
I will be the first to say that I can be SO self conscious when it comes to swimwear. I’m just not as brave as I once was – before the babies. I try to cover areas that I feel are flaws and so on… But I can’t imagine I am the only one who feels some sort of way about swimwear! For that reason, I wanted to share some swimsuits brands that I have tried and think offer flattering styles.
Swimsuit One – One Piece Color Block
The first one has to be my most favorite. Not only is this swimsuit stylish but also super flattering. I love the way it fits and the fact that it’s a one piece style, helps me feel a bit more confident. The price point on this suit is on the higher end but I think it’s worth it for the style and quality.
Y’all, Walmart just launched their spring line, We Dress America! And I’m beyond excited to be sharing a few of my favorite fashion finds at Walmart in this post. This new line is for everyone! It offers trendy pieces for every style and budget. Whether you are shopping for yourself or the whole family, Walmart’s spring fashion assortment has something for everyone to love.
I personally found some great tops, go-to denim and trendy shoes to kick off Spring. This Button Front Top is perfect for everyday wear but can be easily styled in an elevated Spring look. Pair it with skinny jeans like the ones I wore here or shorts, it’s that versatile! Tops like this one are classics and true wardrobe staples. One can never have too many button up shirts, am I right?!
Happy SPRING everyone! I am so glad that it’s officially Spring! Especially because I am looking forward to having some consistent weather! So, let me ask you, what do you think when you hear the word Spring? I personally think of flowers, butterflies, dresses, etc… For that reason, I thought this look would be perfect to share today. There are butterflies, pleated details and a pretty outdoor location! 😛
I love wearing skirts and dresses because there’s just something so delicate and feminine about these garments. Since I re-discovered my love for pleats over this Valentine’s Day look, I have decided to start adding pieces with pleats to my wardrobe little by little. This skirt – which is linked below – caught me eye for its detail and because I immediately thought how easy and fun it would be wear it two ways. So, if you keep scrolling, you’ll see how a simple shoe change can work for a skirt like this one. 😉 The papillons tee I found while scrolling through Amazon, it seems like one I had seen before. I just couldn’t figure out where.
After buying it, I saw a similar tee on Pinterest and it all clicked. I am linking both for you to check out and decide if you like one over the other. As for the rest of the look, the accessories are not new because you’ve seen them before but I’m linking them anyway. As well as the heels and tennis shoes. So, I have another question… Which look are you likely to wear? Heel or Sneakers? Let me know in the comments below 🙂
So we’re off to Mexico for the first time as a family! Though we have been before, never with the kids. I’m excited and worried all at the same time, so wish me luck. My oldest loves to travel so she’s super excited and the little one is just happy to be going to the beach. It is Spring Break season and many of you may also be going on a vacation sooner or later. So I thought I’d to take a moment to share what I plan to wear for a five day vacation in Mexico. 🙂
I bought pieces that were both budget and weather friendly, but still on trend. A lot of these I feel can be worn from Spring into Summer, so you’ll likely see them styled again here and on my Social Media. Speaking of, make sure to follow along on Instagram for all the fun while on our trip. I will try to share aa much as possible in case that you’re still trying to decide on your next vacay. 😉 Ps. I am linking all the items below for you to take a peek and shop.
Who’s ready for Spring?! Meeee! Seriously y’all. I am beyond ready for Spring, especially now that we’re all sick thanks to the crazy weather here. While, I hasn’t been consistently cold this Winter, we’ve had some ridiculously cold days and I’m just over it. Plus, I’m ready to fully transition my wardrobe and wear chic winter to spring momiform outfits! This one is one of my favorites and it’s super easy to put together.
When transitioning your wardrobe from winter to spring, you have to think lighter layers: t-shirts, cardigans and jeans. Finding pieces that are comfortable are important in my opinion because of temperature changes. Just because spring allows for more comfortable looks, doesn’t mean that a spring momiform outfit can’t be stylish. T-shirts are my favorite spring pieces because they can be dressed up or down and are also great for layering; so I always keep some in my wardrobe. 🙂 Cardigans are also great for layering and I love the pockets, so I’m linking it below. High rise jeans are comfy and one of my favorite fits; they just seem to hide some parts of my mom body that I’m not the most confident about. 😉 Finish the look but accessorizing, a cute belt, wedges and your favorite handbag.
