Hi there, I know we are well into June but I wanted to share the four products that I tried in May in case you missed it on my Instagram. 🙂
I have said it before, I’m not one for wearing a full face of make up on a daily basis. But every now and then, I make an exception. Last month, I got to try the new Believe Beauty line from Dollar General. And I have to say that I was impressed by the beautiful packaging, affordable price point (all are under $5) and product variety. I love lip color and would say the Lip Gloss in Mimosa which comes in six shades, was my favorite!
Another lip color that I tried and loved was the Avon True Color Nourishing Lipstick. I tried four different shades and loved them ALL. From the lightest pink to the deepest red, these have been on rotation all month long. What I loved about these is that they each have jojoba oil which helps nourish and soften lips. And I have noticed a difference since using these.
I’m always taking about my dark circles… And last month, I got to try the Total Eye Restore Regimen by Colorescience. Its’s a three step system that helps minimize the appearance of dark circles, puffiness, fine lines, and wrinkles. I use all three but my favorite are the Hydrogel Treatment Masks. I feel like they instantly refresh the eye area.
What about you have you tried any new products that you’re currently obsessed with? If so, leave me your recommendations, I’d love to add them to my list and try them at some point. 😉

You guys, I’m so excited to share my newest obsession in the hair care department with you! If you’ve been following for a while, you know that I love my CHI Haircare Tools. When I learned that CHI Haircare’s Spring 2019 Hair Tool Launched with 5 new options, I couldn’t wait to check it out. The one pictured here is the new CHI Paint Party 1″ Flat Iron, which has been my go-to so far this spring! Not only do I love the fun design but also the fact that it brings a gorgeous gold fanny pack, the perfect accessory for upcoming travel. Plus, it is now available at JCPenney, in stores and online. 😉
My love for CHI has a lot to do with the fact that one tool can be used to create multiple hairstyles, from silky smooth strand to curls or waves. While straightening hair, it works to reduce frizz which is a big deal in humid Houston. 😛 Other features that make me a fan are its six heat settings, automatic shut off and 11 feet cord.
Is it just me or did March fly by? I seriously can’t believe how quickly the year is passing by. Anyways, today I wanted to share a little bit about my beauty routine and products that I used in March month. I hope to do these at least once a month, since that’s about the timeframe I take to try out products and decide if they’re keepers! 😉 I’m sharing five favorite products below:
Tired eyes are the story of my life… This means I’m always looking for products that help me in this area. This month I tried this duo; Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels and Icelandic Relief Eye Cream by skyn ICELAND. The eye gels have been the best pick my up for my under eyes.

Self care can be attained beyond the spa! If I’m honest, taking regular trips to the spa to care for my skin is not something that is always within my budget. This is why I like keeping products like Bioré Witch Hazel Pore Strips and Toner at hand. I can deep clean and pamper my skin while tackling breakouts right from the comfort of my home.
Witch Hazel? You ask. Yes, I grew up using it! Though, I’ll admit that I just recently started using it as a regular ingredient in my skincare routine. Because it is an astringent and contains anti-inflammatory properties, it seems like the perfect ingredient to help ease my breakouts. In my case, I breakout at least once a month, so it is important for me to use products with ingredients that deep clean my pores. I feel that the Bioré Witch Hazel Toner does just that. Witch Hazel is said to remove excess dirt and oil from skin, help shrink pores, tighten and tone skin. The toner is available at Walmart and just under $7.Read More
I have partnered with Summer's Eve® to create this post but all content and opinions expressed here are my own.
The holidays often mean long days full of shopping, day trips, parties and more. Staying fresh can be hard to do when one is constantly on-the-go. Because you have plenty to worry about, I think giving Summer’s Eve® Cleansing Wash and Cleansing Cloths a try this holiday season is a must! Enjoy the time you have with family and friends and let Summer’s Eve® help you stay fresh.
As the season finally changes in Houston, I try to also make changes in my beauty routine. This fall I have been trying a few new products that I plan to use through winter. Because I know that many of you also tweak your beauty routines and are on the search for good skin products to try, I wanted to share a few of my favorites today.
One of the products that I now swear by for eye-care care is the T2 OXYGEN EYE CREAM O3.0 which helps in the healing and regeneration of damaged skin cells. With ingredients like elderberries (an anti-oxidant), jojoba oil (which firms and hydrates skin), evening primrose ( that boosts blood circulation) this cream makes the aye area feel youthful.
I have been using it for over four weeks and felt more confident with every use because I knew that it was made to protect the eye area. My eyes are an area of focus for me because I suffer from dark circles – I think they’re partially hereditary but I’m proactive in helping minimize them however possible. I am working to implement other habits that help minimize dark circles, like sleeping and hydrating more too.
