Faux leather leggings are an item that I’ve had my eye on forever. On a trip to Express, I found these! I wasn’t sure how they’d fit on my but decided to try them anyway and I actually liked the fit. I don’t have any regrets on this buy because… I feel that these are so versatile and can be worn in so many way! Dress them up or dress them down, however they’re worn, they’d make a nice outfit.
This time, I decided to pair them with OTK boots and the prettiest sweater which seems to have sold out, but I am linking a similar item for you. I love that ruffle details on this sweater – apparently I have a thing for ruffles. 🙂 And as far as accessories, I didn’t really wear much other than my go-to handbag, earrings and the Starbucks cup (which seems to be a thing with me lately).
Happy Friday!! Today’s Friday Favorite is YOUTH® skincare line by Shaklee. While, I had heard of Shaklee before, I will be honest in saying that I did not know that they provided skin care products as well. Because prevention is the best policy in skincare, I have been using the Youth Activating BB Cream, Youth Activating Serum and Radiance C + E capsules.
I am loving their products because they are formulated specifically to target and address aging at the cellular level of your skin. And all products are also 100% vegan and cruelty free, another reason to love them, am I right?
I have to admit that I didn’t have much of a skincare routine in place prior to trying out Saranghae. I supposed I had gotten used to trying a combination of products, as needed. But the fact that one line offers an entire system seemed appealing. Especially, since it is only a four step routine. The sheet mask is optional and not required every night – so I save it for nights when I need some pampering.
You’re curious now! And wonder what is Saranghae? It’s a Korean 5 Step Anti-Aging Routine comprised of
I have always loved tea tree oil products, there’s just something about it that makes my hair feel clean – from the scalp. I have had issues with flaking for long – I honestly can’t remember when it started. This is likely why I love all things tea tree oil for my hair, it tends to soothe.
So, when I got the chance to try Maple Holistics’ Tea Tree Shampoo, I was in! Not only does it have one of my favorite hair care ingredients, but it’s also free of parabens and GMOs; plus cruelty-free and gluten free. If you’re ready to try it, get your free sample.
Harry’s is a men’s razor company, yes! But hear me out. Aren’t you tired of being told what you can and cannot do as a woman? 😉 All kidding aside, who says that we have to use women’s razors only? I will admit, that I have been using them for years and never questioned it. When offered the opportunity to try a man’s razor, I became intrigued. And was pleasantly surprised by the results.
I was also left wondering why I had not used men’s razors before. The shave was so clean, effortless and my legs absolutely smooth. It was hands down, the best shave I had gotten… ever! And this was with only one shave – sure I had to go back over a few spots I had missed – even then the shave was much better than what I had experienced before.
Parenting has got to be one of the most stressful jobs on the face of the Earth, but it is also one of the most rewarding. Raising children and passing on all of the knowledge you’ve accrued in your own life is one of the most fulfilling goals that you can live up to, and gives many people a stronger sense of purpose, once they’ve had kids.
However, there’s a lot that can go wrong, when it comes to raising children, and you can’t possibly be there for them for every part of growing up. For this reason, it’s important to raise children who are confident and learn to take care of themselves in new and frightening situations. Here are some tips on how you can raise more confident children…
Encourage active habits
Nowadays, it’s all too common that children stay indoors all day. This isn’t to knock kids today, as it is more a sign of the times than anything, but there are real benefits to spending your childhood getting outsideand physically doing things! Children who play outside are healthier and have an easier time doing physical activities, such as sports and dance. Playing outside also offers children the chance to socialize with other children, and learn how to get along with new people that they haven’t met before. This is an important skill that leads to more confidence, in the future.
