If you have been coming around here for a while, you may have noticed by now that I’m all about casual vibes. Though every now and then it’s also nice to put on some heels and be chic. This week I wanted to share how one look can be worn two ways. The base for both looks is my favorite LBB (little black bodysuit), jeans and a belt. All which are linked below for you to check out.
Look One – I decided to wear with my favorite sandals, because they’re nude and they go with just about anything. Flat sandals add a sense of comfort to any look, this pair you have probably seen over and over on Instagram. 🙂 A jean jacket, I thought would be a nice touch, especially for the season. As things start to cool down, jean jackets and cardigans are always a good idea.
Look Two – Is the dressed up version. 🙂 All I really did was add block heel sandals, which are my go-to any time I want a more dressed up look. These in particular are my favorite because of the animal print, which is perfect for the season. I took away the jean jacket and kept the bag because it goes with everything! I’m linking everything below as well for you to check out. 🙂

Faux leather leggings are an item that I’ve had my eye on forever. On a trip to Express, I found these! I wasn’t sure how they’d fit on my but decided to try them anyway and I actually liked the fit. I don’t have any regrets on this buy because… I feel that these are so versatile and can be worn in so many way! Dress them up or dress them down, however they’re worn, they’d make a nice outfit.
This time, I decided to pair them with OTK boots and the prettiest sweater which seems to have sold out, but I am linking a similar item for you. I love that ruffle details on this sweater – apparently I have a thing for ruffles. 🙂 And as far as accessories, I didn’t really wear much other than my go-to handbag, earrings and the Starbucks cup (which seems to be a thing with me lately).
Happy Friday!! Today’s Friday Favorite is YOUTH® skincare line by Shaklee. While, I had heard of Shaklee before, I will be honest in saying that I did not know that they provided skin care products as well. Because prevention is the best policy in skincare, I have been using the Youth Activating BB Cream, Youth Activating Serum and Radiance C + E capsules.
I am loving their products because they are formulated specifically to target and address aging at the cellular level of your skin. And all products are also 100% vegan and cruelty free, another reason to love them, am I right?
I have to admit that I didn’t have much of a skincare routine in place prior to trying out Saranghae. I supposed I had gotten used to trying a combination of products, as needed. But the fact that one line offers an entire system seemed appealing. Especially, since it is only a four step routine. The sheet mask is optional and not required every night – so I save it for nights when I need some pampering.
You’re curious now! And wonder what is Saranghae? It’s a Korean 5 Step Anti-Aging Routine comprised of
I have always loved tea tree oil products, there’s just something about it that makes my hair feel clean – from the scalp. I have had issues with flaking for long – I honestly can’t remember when it started. This is likely why I love all things tea tree oil for my hair, it tends to soothe.
So, when I got the chance to try Maple Holistics’ Tea Tree Shampoo, I was in! Not only does it have one of my favorite hair care ingredients, but it’s also free of parabens and GMOs; plus cruelty-free and gluten free. If you’re ready to try it, get your free sample.
Harry’s is a men’s razor company, yes! But hear me out. Aren’t you tired of being told what you can and cannot do as a woman? 😉 All kidding aside, who says that we have to use women’s razors only? I will admit, that I have been using them for years and never questioned it. When offered the opportunity to try a man’s razor, I became intrigued. And was pleasantly surprised by the results.
I was also left wondering why I had not used men’s razors before. The shave was so clean, effortless and my legs absolutely smooth. It was hands down, the best shave I had gotten… ever! And this was with only one shave – sure I had to go back over a few spots I had missed – even then the shave was much better than what I had experienced before.
