Dressing Between Summer and Fall

I am somewhere between summer and fall. What about you? I love all things Fall but my heart lies with Summer. And for that reason, I think I will continue to dressing between summer and fall… Until further notice anyway. And today I wanted to share this pretty yellow blouse that I picked up at Walmart!

I admit that I often dress in neutral colors but this blouse called my name; and I just couldn’t leave it behind. There is something about the bold color that I loved and had to have it. Besides, I thought about all the ways that I could wear it. And decided to pair it with my favorite denim skirt which is still available and on sale for under $15. The Travel Sandal dupes that I got this summer because they seemed like a great shoe to pair with the top and skirt. I then added my everyday accessories and favorite nude handbag, which I am linking below.

Another reason why I decided to share this look is because although the color is bright and mostly to be associated with summer. The face that it is a long sleeve top, makes it a good choice to start transitioning from one season to the next. Especially if you live in the Southern parts of the country. 🙂 As for the skirt, it’s an item that like the shorts that I shared last week, can very well be worn into late fall. A denim skirt can be paired with booties, over the knee boots and sneakers for a fall look. While on top, with a cami and cardigan combination or long sleeve sweater. 😉 Tell me, are you dressing between summer and fall

  4. The bright yellow is so pretty and is beautiful on you! I love fall styles but since I live in SoCal and we don’t really get a fall, transition looks are where its at.

  5. This transitional time period is so fun as you want a jacket or closed toe shoes for the next few nights to account for cooler temps in the evening. I wish it was cooler in AZ!
