As soon as the seasons begin to change, families seem to spend more time at home. The fact that the weather around you is changing, doesn’t mean that you can’t still have some fun together. If your family is anything like mine, a family dinner + dance party could be a fun way to spend time together! Music and food are two great ingredients for a good time. If you have a Target nearby or can shop online, you will find all you need there for entertaining this season at affordable prices.
Some of our favorite at-home activities to do as a family include movies on the projector and karaoke night. We also love dance parties and were somewhat due for one, so I ordered the latest vinyl by Billie Eilish. My oldest is a big fan and it was a sweet surprise for her. The victrola record player has been a find that adds lots of fun our dance parties. It also brings back many memories, as I remember my mom having her own record player and vinyls at home.
A good dance party is not complete without food. I wanted to try something new items on our nachos. And decided to order the Queso Blanco and Black Beans from Good & Gather. Nachos are one of our favorite family recipes, it’s easy, tasty and perfect for sharing.The queso is perfect for dipping but it also added a lot of flavor to the nachos. So I declare it a must try. 😛
Because Target offers affordable prices on trendy items for the home, I was even able to decorate the space a little, I got the beautiful table runner, tealights candles and fall kitchen towel from Target’s Threshold collection. Shopping at Target made it really easy to put together something fun for the family. We hardly plan ahead and love being spontaneous.
Luckily, Target always has trendy items in all their departments. As well as amazing finds for entertaining; from home decor, to food and games for just about everyone. I enjoy being able to shop online and have everything I need delivered within days. Though the option to pick up in-store if needed is also a big plus.
Though the weather is changing but fall can also be fun. No matter what your family is into, Target has something perfect for everyone to have a fun time at home this fall!
