It is Rodeo time!! If you live in Houston, you are probably saying, “Heck, Yeah!” If you don’t, you are probably saying, “So what?”
Let me tell you that in Houston, Rodeo is a huge deal. This may very well be the most anticipated event of the year. After all, it is biggest party in our city. Concerts, games, carnival rides, fair food, fried food…
Yes, the food! And speaking of food, I am bringing you three rodeo food recipes that you can make at home tonight!
Deep Fried Oreos
As if Oreos were not delicious enough! Believe me, deep fried Oreos are so much more delicious. I didn’t know how easy it was to make these until my brother-in-law made them. I have made them a few times since.
Fried Cheesecake Bites
Cheesecake is another of my favorite desserts. My dad is a cheesecake lover and introduced me to this delicious treat as a teenager. Now my daughter who I introduced to cheesecake is also a fan. This is a dessert that will be passed down from generation to generation.

Cheetos Crusted Elotes
Elotes – also known as Mexican street corn – are something I learned to love by living in Texas. My husband is the one who introduced me to this fun food. The Elote recipe I am sharing today is not the traditional recipe. This one has a fair-food twist to it.
Are you a foodie like me? Leave me a comment with your favorite fair food.
