Five Affordable Walmart Home Items to Update Your Bedroom

When it comes to decor, I like to change the way spaces in our home look throughout the year. While I don’t usually make big changes, I try to find ways to spruce up each space with minimal effort. Last month I shared a few changes that I made to our patio affordable Walmart Home finds. At that time I fell in love with many items. So when moving to our new rental this month, I took the opportunity to do a few decorative updates! 😛

Setting a budget is just as important as where you shop when it comes to re-decorating a space. Decorating does not have to be expensive if you choose affordable pieces. Last month I found great prices when shopping the collections from Walmart Home. When I decided to change out our bedroom decor, their site was my first stop. I found everything I wanted for under $200! This included three decorative pillows, new bedding, lamps, storage baskets and a candle. 🙂

Pillows are one of my favorite ways to update a space, I feel that they are usually an affordable decorative item that instantly adds a nice touch to any space, a bed, couch and even outdoor seating. I found these at just $29.99 each, they are also available in another size for $39.99. I simply loved the print on these and thought they would give the space a Tropical yet tranquil feel. The round throw pillow also seemed like a good add, priced at $29 and a good contrast with the printed pair.

I didn’t love our last quilt set that’s why I decided on new bedding. Our last set was also white but with a different pattern. This one caught my eye and for $64 seemed like a good add. No space is complete without the perfect scent. I got this candle for under $10 and it is available in four other scents.

We absolutely needed lamps for the space and I got lucky when I found these modern lamps. They turn on and off with just the tap of a finger. 🙂 But it was their sleek minimal design what really helped me decide to get them. Smart and stylish storage is also a good idea when decorating. And I found these gorgeous storage baskets which will be good for storing throw blankets and pillows.
