When it comes to wearing make up, I often opt for less. I’m sure make up artist would have a heart attack if they knew this… But I don’t even wear any powder or foundation! Quite honestly the most make up I wear is concealer to mask dark circles, blush to add a little bit of color, mascara when I don’t have lash extensions, and eyeshadow if I’m going somewhere like happy hour or dinner. Now, when it comes to lipstick, I treat it more like a lip balm. 😛 I love wearing red lipsticks but on a daily basis, wear a light shade of pink.
Four of my favorite shades of red lipsticks include SuperStay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick by Maybelline. It’s applied like a lipgloss. And what I love most is that it lasts for hours! Avon’s True Color Nourishing Lipstick is another one of my favorites. While it feels more like a lip balm, it’s a beautiful shade of red. There are two Givenchy lipsticks that I also love wearing, Le Rouge Deep Velvet Lipstick and the Le Rouge Perfecto Lip Balm (the same as the pink shade I wear daily). These two are over $20 but worth it! They go on smoothly, last a few hours and feel moisturizing to the pout. 😉 Tell me do you wear a full face of make up? These reds are beautiful! I’m not a huge fan of red lips– I feel like they make my already thin lips look really small, however some days I feel like rocking an orange-red shade.
I’ve never ever been a red lip kinda gal. This was primarily because every time I tried a red lipstick (and trust me, I’ve tried PLENTY), they always made me look clown-ish. I didn’t like them at all. But I recently discovered a shade that I adore! And you’re reminding me that I need to wear it again soon!
You have a lovely complexion! You don’t need much makeup. The lipstick selections are so pretty! As for me, I don’t wear any makeup. It irritates my eyes and makes them water. If you ever see me in makeup, I’ve added to the photo with an app.
