It’s no secret that I straighten my hair. I do it, not because I don’t love my curls, but because it is easier. Believe or not it is easier for me to deal with my hair straight, than to deal with my curls. And it probably has a lot to do with the fact that I haven’t found a product that my curls love! My straight hair, however, is loving my new hair tools by Anjou!
My Hair Routine
It has become so easy to straighten my hair with their tools. And my new hair routine consists of washing my hair with shampoo and conditioner and using a hair mask. Once I rise it off the hair mask, I get any excess water with my Aquis hair towel before letting my hair air dry. Once it’s all dry, I like to straighten it with the Anjou Professional Flat Iron or Anjou Ionic Hair Straightener Brush. I alternate between the two, depending on my what look I am going for. When I use the Straightener Brush, I get a bit more volume. While with the Flat Iron, the volume is less and I can curl my ends, as I often do.
My Thoughts on Anjou
As far as the tools, I love that each came with gorgeous packaging – and let’s be honest, packaging is often what draws us to make certain purchases, am I right? I also love that each came with instructions and even with a guide on what temperatures to use according to your hair texture. Each one also brought a glove which I feel is so important because these are hot tools that we’re handling after all. If you’re like me and have burnt your hand a few times, you will appreciate these.
My favorite features on the Flat Iron, is the auto-shutoff. It can be so easy to forget to turn it off, so I’m loving that and how wide the plates are. The Straightener Brush is a tool that I had been so curious about but never gotten around to try it. I have to say that I love how easy it is to use. It’s like a blow dryer but better. And I had stopped using the blow dryer because, well it wasn’t functional. I am truly satisfied with both the Straightener Brush and Flat Iron. If you’re in the market for new hair tools, I recommend that you give Anjou a try, they’re super affordable and have an entire beauty line for you to select your favorite products.

I love straightening my curly hair I don’t do it a lot because of heat damage but its so much more easier to manage straight sometimes.

Having auto shut off on a flat iron is definitely a bonus for me. I’m usually in a rush and often forget to turn mine off. Your hair looks so sleek and shiny!
