Friday Favorite; The Mint Moon Bath Bombs

bath bombs make a bath feel like a spa experience, these are handmade in Texas by The Mint Moon.

Bath Bombs are something I had been so curious about. I mean, have you seen videos? It’s almost magical how they dissolve in the bathtub and the water turns colors, bubbles don’t even do this. Yes, I sound like a kid. But hey, I am the type of girl that also loves mermaids and unicorns. 😉

So, when I found The Mint Moon on Instagram, I knew I had to try these.

As a mama, wife and blogger, my day to day is pretty hectic. I am lucky to stay home with my littlest, but my day is not any less stressful than when I worked full time. Taking a bath is a luxury around here at times. But having bath bombs from The Mint Moon almost encouraged me to set aside some me-time and enjoy a nice warm bath to unwind.

The Shop

Hannah is the owner at The Mint Moon and she is very sweet. Her shop is in Spring, Texas. Which I love because not only have I found a small business but one that is local. Her shop can be found on Facebook and Instagram. She offers several bath bombs at great prices.

The Bath Bombs

When I got the package in the mail, I couldn’t wait to open it. The first thing that I noticed was the scent, it smelled amazing.

Each bath bomb was individually wrapped and clearly labeled, not only with its name but also with the ingredients. This is very important to me, because I like to know what is added to products that we use in our home. The ingredients included non-GMO citric acid, baking soda, cornstarch, Epson salt, coconut oil, almond oil, Jojoba oil, essential oil’s, fragrance oils.

I’m a sucker for products with fun names and each bath bomb had a unique name; Island In the Sun, Relaxing, Rose Garden and Acai Berries.

The shapes and details of each bath bomb was another nice feature. While most bath bombs are round, I was pleasantly surprised by the skull shaped bath bomb. My girls were so excited by all, but this one was their favorite. The Rose Garden bath bomb had flower petals, which was a nice touch making it my favorite.

While Hannah warns to discontinue use if irritation occurs, I’m happy to say that we had no problems at all. The girls use a bath bomb, as did I and my husband. We didn’t experience any issues. In my opinion, this is a product that the entire family can enjoy.

Now, with Mother’s day around the corner, you’re likely looking for a gift that will make mom feel spoiled, am I right? I recommend these bath bombs, adding one to a warm bath is like having a spa at home.

Hannah is taking orders now, just head to her Facebook page for details.

Make sure to share this post, that way other people can discover this awesome Texas based shop.
