Halloween Ready with Budget Finds from Dollar General

Halloween Ready with Budget Finds from Dollar General

"This post is sponsored by Dollar General; however, all thoughts and opinions are my own.”

It’s no secret that I love to do some of my shopping at Dollar General. Especially around big events like Halloween. This year I was excited with all my budget finds and got to save using the DG App which gives me access to coupons. I found everything from costumes to candy, food and decor. While this year has changed how we celebrate many holidays, I still wanted to put together something fun for the girls. 🙂

Holidays like these are fun for little ones, so Halloween cannot be cancelled. But if you’re wondering how to celebrate it this year, keep on reading. I’m sharing everything I found at Dollar General in hopes to spark your creativity. If you need more inspiration, make sure to check out DG Crafts and DG Easy Meals for more Halloween ideas.

This year I shopped three categories; food, decor and costumes. I started by picking up Halloween candy variety bags. We found bags with Crunch, Butterfinger, Skittles and Twix. These were absolute budget finds and convenient because each comes with an assortment of our favorite candy. Chips, pretzels and popcorn were also on my list! Plus, a few bottles of wine which I’ll enjoy in the cutest wine tumblers.

Since a proper party requires paper goods and I got themed plates, cups and napkins with fun designs in store too. I also found some spooky decor for our balcony; caution tape, creepy cloth, glitter spiders, cauldron bowl, and spider web all came from Dollar General! These were really fun to use to decorate the space and the girls had a blast helping out.

Costumes were another fun category to shop. I found $8 masks for the hubby and because I couldn’t pick one, I got him two. 🙂 Another budget finds that I didn’t mind bringing home. The girls got witch hats, because these are an iconic Halloween item and only $1 each! I got some headbands for myself. If you’re in need of costumes, you can find masks, costumes accessories and fun Halloween makeup packs at your local store.
