Lightweight Sweaters to Wear Now and Later

Happy December y’all. Today I wanted to stop by and share a few lightweight sweaters that I’ve recently added to my wardrobe. Most are under $20! Because I’m a budget shopper and updating a fall wardrobe doesn’t have to be pricey. I love this one because of its fun neutral animal print. The boatneck structure makes it easy to wear off the shoulder, it’s like having two sweaters in one. 😉

I am an avid denim supporter, so I paired it with one of my favorite express jeans and have linked a few similar styles below. These have been with me for over two years and are still a go-to. Paired completed the look by adding booties because these are my favorite brown pair, even if they are from last season. 😛

There seems to be a recurring theme here – wear what you have! While I update my wardrobe with certain pieces each season, I find that it’s important to also buy pieces that are timeless in a way. This year, I have not bought any new booties, the ones I purchased last year are in perfect condition. I have only added a few new jeans and lightweight sweaters.

Yes, there are tons of new items on my wishlist but the budget shopper in me stops me from adding more clothes to my closet. If we are being realistic this 2020 hasn’t called for lots of new clothes either. Tell me, what is the item in your closet that you can’t live without?
