I’ll admit that I wasn’t concerned with home decor until we bought our home three years ago. Even before the house was completely built, I would search and save all sort of ideas on Pinterest. I would day about decorating every space in our soon to be home, from the nursery to the guest bedroom. Three years later, I still enjoy decorating. The only difference is that I do it on a much smaller scale. Today I want to share bedroom decor ideas with you.
Our master for instance, is neutral. I’ve made it that way so that with the simple motion of swapping out throw pillows, I could make the room feel fresh and ready for a new season. Our bedroom usually has pops of blue – you may have seen it as I have shared it on Instagram before.
This summer, I thought it would be fun to add bolder prints and colors to our bedroom decor. Since nothing says summer like leaf prints, I had to have these when I found them online. The yellow pillow covers, I found at our local IKEA and thought they’re contrast well with the bold leaf print. I do love that they have a velvet feel – super soft. While, I know it doesn’t seem like much, throw pillows are the easiest and least expensive way to change up any room in a home.

I love my throw pillows. We went with a navy headboard with navy bedding with pink and gray throw pillows. Love your patterns.
I would love all of those accent pillows for our master bedroom. I love whites and greys for our walls and bed covers, brightened with colourful pillows.
