If you’re into making your own crust, you can find an easy recipe online. You will also need; Strawberries, Jell-o, Cool Whip, hot/cold water and ice. That’s it! Now, to make them, keep scrolling…
Making Strawberry Cream Pies
First, start with adding boiling water to a bowl and mixing in the Jell-o, making sure to stir until jell-o is dissolved. Then add the cold water and ice, the mix will slightly firm. You can set it aside for a few minutes to help it firm. Once the mix has sat out for a few minutes, you can whisk in the cool whip. It should now be fluffy and you can add the strawberries at this point. Now, add the filling to the pie crusts and refrigerate for a few hours. They will continue to firm in the refrigerator and once you remove them, you can garnish them as desired, with whipped cream, fresh strawberries, etc.
New year is the perfect time for a fresh start in your life. It’s great because you can leave the past behind you and aim to improve one (if not more) aspects of your life. We call these new year’s resolutions and in general, people start them on the first day of the new year so that they can wipe their slate clean for the coming year. Here are the top new year’s resolutions that people choose to take on, and how you can do it too.
The choice to lose weight in the new year has to be among the top chosen all over the world. It’s a chance to forget about the naughty eating that you’ve been doing (especially over the festive period,) and getting yourself back into shape by losing the excess weight. Many people struggle to do this alone because of tempting foods and also losing sight of what is actually healthy. If you feel like you might find it hard to lose weight alone, why not attend a weight watchers meeting or something similar? It will give you the support of the group and allow you to lose weight in a healthy way.
Many people long for financial stability at all points of life, but as each new year comes along it’s a great time to decide to concentrate on getting your finances in order. This might be by taking on extra hours at work, or even finding yourself a second job. There are loads of ways to make extra money in your spare time. However, if you’re in a large amount of debt on your credit card it can be hard to see a silver lining. There is such a thing as a federal government credit card debt relief program that may be able to help you, so it’s definitely worth the read.
Pulling a room together can be a lot of fun. While choosing to decorate an entire house in one go can feel like too much work, at the same time, it’s often a great way to make sure that each room flows together. Because that’s often the key to getting your decor right – you have to be able to build it all up so that it just works. From your workspace to your living spaces, you’ll want to create interiors that work well for their function, but look incredible too. One of the best ways to make sure you nail the latter is to work in soft furnishings. They often soften the room and bring the entire look together. So let’s take a look at how you can complement your decor and finish it off with the right soft furnishings.
Traveling is a bit of a luxury, isn’t it. But if you work hard enough, and be as frugal with your money as possible, there’s no reason why you can’t fit in two vacations this year to the destinations you’ve been dreaming of. If your destination of choice is a tad expensive, like Bora Bora, then you’re going to need some inspiration to help you find the vacation destination of choice. Whether you’re looking for a bit of winter fun, or summer sun, there’s something out there for everyone. So here are a few ways in which you can make two nice vacations affordable, and some of the best destinations around the world to try that you might not have thought of.
To make your vacation affordable, is going to be hard. You need to put in the work to make sure you’re scraping together every last penny. To some people, the cutbacks in life are more than worth it when you have to amazing vacation destination to go on. So put in some extra shifts at work and begin putting aside the extra money into a savings account ready to book the vacation. You need to try and cut back on the other areas in life such as your social life, where you often might spend a little bit more money than you need to. Reduce your outings to once or twice a month, rather than every weekend, and stop spending money on food! Spending money on food is most likely going to be one of your biggest outgoings each month. Even just a trip to the supermarket to buy a meal deal is all going to add up. Then all you need to do is find an affordable vacation. Look out for the deals, and see if a last minute deal is going to save you a bit of money. A lot of companies overcharge for vacations which is why it is so important to shop around rather than going for the first vacation you see.
Setting up a blog is no easy task. There are a number of decisions to make, from what domain name to choose to who will be responsible for your hosting, right? And let’s be honest, those decisions are way more important than a workspace…. Wait! Are they? I used to think so, forgetting that there are other essentials that can make blogging easier.
Workspace! It’s not something that I planned ahead. I worked off my laptop from the comfort of my bed or couch, and sometimes even on the floor. A few months in and I began to understand that having a dedicated work space was a need.
So, I started searching for a desk options, found a cozy-chic chair, invested on a desktop, added some decorations and it slowly came together. So, if you’re thinking about investing on a dedicated workspace, this is what I recommend.
Get a nice sized desk with enough room for you. My desk is not huge but it is functional. It has enough space for my Mac, mouse, keyboard, but most importantly for me to spread out my notebook and hand write notes and ideas. Then from time to time it also holds lots of toys that my little piles on it, like pretend cupcakes and tea cups – she loves feeding me. 🙂
Tacos are a way of life in Texas! Ask anyone who lives here, they’ll agree 😉 Seriously, from breakfast to lunch to dinner, there are so many ways to eat them.
I was never really big on breakfast tacos, but my husband loves and eats them so much, that they kind of grew on me. Though, we have our favorite Taco places here in Houston, sometimes it’s just easier for me to make them at home.
I always try to have tortillas, which I buy fresh from the bakery at Kroger. And other ingredients that I can add to the tortillas too, like eggs and bacon. This is a simple and my personal favorite breakfast taco combination.
But I also like to switch it up. So, I thought I’d try something different and bought some chorizo and frozen Potatoes O’Brien, which are perfectly diced with onions and peppers. This and a few eggs would make delicious breakfast tacos.
