Jackson is an affordable yet exciting up-and-coming city in Mississippi. Though, I have visited Mississippi on many occasions, I have not had the pleasure of visiting Jackson. But I will say that after watching the Visit Jackson docu-series, I have become fascinated with the culture and their strong sense of diversity. So, I plan to add Jackson as a destination on my travel wish list.
I’m sure that after you check out the docu-series, you will also want to add Jackson to your list. This is a city that has something for everyone; food, culture, art, entertainment and much more.
If you’re a food fanatic, the food scene is one to check out. There’s a culinary variety to please just about anyone, with restaurants like Big Apple Inn on Farish St., Johnny T’s Bistro & Bar and CS’s just to name a few.
Jackson is much more than soul food but if that’s what you’re looking for, you can find it too. The Crawdad Hole is another great spot to eat – there you can experience a crawfish boil like the locals.
Christmas is officially 3 days, 11 hours away. But who is counting? 😛 Okay! It’s obvious that I am. This is truly my most favorite holiday of all. And this red sweater has me feeling so festive. I love the color but the tulip hem is my favorite detail. There’s just something so delicate about it. Plus the fabric is super light, I don’t feel cold or too hot in it – winning! I’ve linked the sweater below along with similar options for the rest of my look. So keep scrolling and get to shopping! 🙂
Volume! So my hair has lots of it when it’s curly… But when I straighten it, not so much! When I heard about Rootie the Rootlifter by Voloom, I was intrigued. And when I got the chance to try it, I did a little happy dance. 🙂 I mean a solution to the lack of volume in my hair? Yes, please!
So, what’s Rootie? It’s a volumizing iron! It gives hair an instant and long lasting volume. It’s the perfect tool to add a volume to hair that is otherwise flat. Especially, when you have to skip the shampoo & need to revive those luscious locks. 😉 I’m leaving you the link to Voloom here for you to check it out and order it – this would make a great christmas gift. 😉
Christmas is almost here! If you’re a last minute shopper and still searching for something to give the camera owners on your list – you have to check out MOD Straps. They offer stylish and functional camera accessories. Not only is this scarf super pretty but also a lot more comfortable than the strap that came with it.
I love that simply adding this scarf to my camera was an easy way to personalize it. I take my camera everywhere and have gotten so many compliments already. Since I truly take it everywhere, I needed something that was comfortable for on my neck but also able to hold the weight of my camera.
This camera scarf definitely passed the test! So if you’re thinking about getting one, hurry so that you can get it in time for Christmas. If you want to buy this exact camera scarf, keep scrolling, I’ve linked it below. 😉
Thirty Minus One just turned one you guys!! I’m celebrating in this velvet wrap dress – details below – with balloons, cupcakes and rosé. Plus, sharing four things I’ve learned in my first year of blogging.
This baby of mine has been one of the few projects that I’ve poured all my love into. While, it has not alway been easy, I have pushed through and made it this far. I can say that I really love what I’m doing! I hope you all do too and I want to thank you for your continuous support – it means so much to me. 🙂
