Hi, my name is Rose. I am starting second grade this year and soon will be seven years old. Today, I’m taking over the blog to share my favorite back to school outfits.
First, I want to thank Lilypop Baby for my bows. I love them all, the pretty colors on the rainbow bow, the glitter on the pink one and the silver touch on the blue one; which is also one of my favorite colors. 🙂 Keep scrolling to see how I styled my outfits with these pretty bows.

I also want to thank Little Hippie Threats for sending me two cute t-shirts, one that says Oh Grape and one that says Healthy Hippie – which you’ll see on social media. 😉 I just thought they were both so cute when I first saw them. The Big Rainbow bow I am wearing with this outfit I got at Claire’s and it’s from Jojo’s collection.

Happy Friday Y’all! The last two weeks have been pretty crazy. But I am back with fresh content and outfit ideas. 😉 My latest obsession is this soft and feminine pinstripe fabric; the best thing is that there are so many styles to choose from, dresses, blouses, rompers, you name it. I found this cute dress and couldn’t leave it behind; I mean look at the sleeves. I paired it with my super comfy wedges, a neutral clutch and minimal jewelry – which you can shop right from this post. So, keep scrolling to find similar options.
Savannah! Knowing that I lived in Georgia for a few years before, you probably expect me to say that I have visited Savannah several times. Truth is, that we had to move away for me to become interested in visiting. For whatever reason, we always traveled South, to Florida. On this last trip to Georgia, I decided that Savannah was a MUST! And I’m glad that we did it.
Day 1 – We arrived and checked in at Hotel Indigo on Bay Street. The staff was welcoming and resourceful. The room was clean, modern and had a great view. After deciding what our night would look like, we went downstairs to Five Oaks Taproom for drinks and walked over to River St. for dinner at Chart House. We then walked around town a bit and called it a night – it’s age catching up with us. Just kidding! It’s really just parenthood. 🙂
You’ve probably heard a lot about essential oils and have become curious – I know I have! I mean, I know people who swear by them and all the benefits these provide; from better sleep to being more alert.
Since I wanted to personally find out what these oils were about, when a fellow blogger introduced me to Simply Earth; I took advantage of the opportunity to partner with them. Especially, because I liked what this company offers.
Simply Earth, gives back! And this is a big deal for me when trying new products. A total of 13% of their profits helps to stop human traffic.
So, what is Simply Earth? It’s an oil recipe box that works on a subscription system – monthly and quarterly. It includes 4 essential oils shipped for free to you. If you’re a complete beginner, like me – you may be able to receive a free diffuser when you start your subscription.

My box included four essential oils, almond oil, two rollers, two inhalers with circle labels, glass beads and burlap sack, and six recipes.
Getting a new apartment is an exciting time. I remember the very first time I got my first apartment without my family or roommates. It was so exciting! All throughout college, I had lived with roommates and for the most part didn’t do much decorating because it was a shared space. So when I was getting my first apartment alone, I couldn’t wait to start planning how I would make it my own.
That being said I was also a new college grad with limited funds. I knew I wanted to add my personality to the place but I also knew that I needed to do so on a budget. Here are five smart ways to add personality to your new apartment without breaking the bank.
Make Your Own Art
I didn’t initially plan to make my art. I went to a few places, like Ross and Marshalls, to look for art. Store after store I just couldn’t find anything I wanted to look at every day. I went to a local discount arts and crafts store to see what they had in stock.
A guide to picking paint colors for your home
By Christine H.
Wall color is something that rarely stands out to us. In fact, sometimes that’s the point. However, it can have a major effect on the psychological impact of a room. According to the color scheme and how it’s handled, a room can feel cheap or posh, dramatic or cozy.
The color of your walls (and floor and ceiling) can either bring the whole room together, or throw the whole room off. It can affect how the room holds light, or how strained your eyes feel, and how good your furniture looks. It can make a room feel set apart from the rest of the house or seamlessly integrated into a progression from room to room.
If you get anxious about picking out colors for a room, here are some tips, from the experts, that can help you get started:
Making a Plan
To start out with you need to plan more than the wall colors themselves. Designing a room that’s thoughtful and coordinated-looking will include considering everything from the carpet on the floor to the color of the ceiling, including all furniture, curtains, decorations, wall hangings, and fabrics. So, it’s a good idea to have an overall plan first. For you, that process might consist of taking stock of what you have, creating a vision board, or finding your perfect statement piece. This article has some great tips for getting started on envisioning your dream home’s interior.
