I will admit that I went all out for the Barbie movie last week. I mean, I wore a pink romper and even pink nails. This manicure though, is just perfect for summer! It can absolutely be worn beyond the Barbie movie. If you’re into DIY beauty, you’ll love this one.
Here I’m only adding photos of the nail design that I did. But if you head over to my Instagram Reel, you can find the full tutorial there. It is super easy to accomplish this nail art design. All you need are your favorite shades of pink nail polish, wax paper, and a make-up sponge. You will need to spread out a few drops of each color on a piece of wax paper. Then you will use the sponge and dab it on the nail polish mix. Apply it the polish on the sponge to your nails. You will have to follow these steps a few times to get your desired coverage on your nails. This technique will almost give you a tie-dye effect and fun pink nail design. That’s unless you choose other shades, of course.
This nail design is one that you can try with almost any shade of nail polish. The fun part is that you can wear nails with this design any time of year. Once fall comes around, I will use the same technique with other colors so that you can see exactly what I mean. 😉 But you can check out similar manicures I have done with other colors below. I hope this inspires a new manicure for you to try. Whether, you decide to DIY or ask your nail tech to do something similar.
