Spring Florals, Sunday at Kemah

Sunday was such a pretty day that I knew we had to take advantage and plan something outdoors. Even though, spring has been in full swing here in Houston, we had a few cold and rainy days over last week!

So, we got ready, packed the car and decided to head out to the Kemah Boardwalk. Though we don’t go often, we plan to got at least once every year. It’s a small boardwalk off the bay. Though the water is nowhere close to blue, it is nice to breathe in that cool ocean breeze.

Being from Panama, you can imagine how many beautiful beaches I have visited. But I will say this; even though the Houston coast does not have the most beautiful waters, at least we have the beach. That salt water and beach life! Every time I am near the coast, I feel like I am on a vacation. Even, when it is only a day trip.

About that look! How cute is this floral top?  Not only is the print gorgeous but the fabric is so light and breezy, plus perfect for spring! I love the details too, and the cold shoulder – a trend I’m obviously crushing on.

Now, my Guess shorts I love because they offer the great coverage. They fit snug around the thighs and are the perfect length. I mean, when going out with the girls, I have to be ready to chase after them, bend and more. These type of shorts are my go-to for outdoor family fun.

The sandals I found on JustFab, and I have to say they’re pretty comfy and true to size. I like the neutral color which allows me to match them with several outfits. I’m glad this gladiator sandals trend has not faded.

My handbag is by Coach, and though it looks small, it fits everything that I need for a day trip like this one. You may not be able to tell, but I had all my necessities plus those of my littlest (diapers, wipes, etc). I told you I could fit a lot in this small bag. 😉
