Summer is here and you can save at the pump with a Walmart+ Membership

Summer is here and road trips are back on. If you’re like my family and you love to be on the road, you are probably wondering how you’ll schedule all your road trips this season with the high gas prices. Well, I am here to tell you that Walmart has made it easy for you to save at the pump. If you are a Walmart+ member, you now have access to fuel discounts at over 14,000 fuel stations nationwide; that’s the 48 states across the country. This means you can save up to 10¢ per gallon at Exxon and Mobil gas stations, and at select Walmart and Murphy gas stations. Fuel discounts vary by location and station, and are subject to change.

I have been enjoying my Walmart+ membership for months now. But if I wasn’t a member yet, the fact that I could save at the pump alone, would get me to sign up. My family and I love to be on the road once school is out for summer. We love to spend more time outside, visiting beaches and rivers near us. Because driving is the easiest way for us to travel and a way for us to connect with each other and those we love. Taking advantage of this membership to save at the pump is a smart move for me.

My Walmart+ membership is mostly used to load up on groceries; our favorite snacks and drinks are delivered right from the store for free. Since it offers unlimited grocery delivery from Walmart stores with a $35 order minimum (restrictions apply). But also to shop for new styles for the family and myself, which are most often shipped from the walmart.com site for free with no minimum required (Excludes most Marketplace items, location & freight surcharges). Saving time is definitely a perk to being a member. If you’re a busy parent, trust me when I say the Walmart+ membership is worth it. It’s just $98 a year or $12.95 a month and offers so many benefits. Once you sign up, to take advantage of the fuel savings just visit your favorite Walmart, Murphy or ExxonMobil station.
