As the season finally changes in Houston, I try to also make changes in my beauty routine. This fall I have been trying a few new products that I plan to use through winter. Because I know that many of you also tweak your beauty routines and are on the search for good skin products to try, I wanted to share a few of my favorites today.
One of the products that I now swear by for eye-care care is the T2 OXYGEN EYE CREAM O3.0 which helps in the healing and regeneration of damaged skin cells. With ingredients like elderberries (an anti-oxidant), jojoba oil (which firms and hydrates skin), evening primrose ( that boosts blood circulation) this cream makes the aye area feel youthful.
I have been using it for over four weeks and felt more confident with every use because I knew that it was made to protect the eye area. My eyes are an area of focus for me because I suffer from dark circles – I think they’re partially hereditary but I’m proactive in helping minimize them however possible. I am working to implement other habits that help minimize dark circles, like sleeping and hydrating more too.
Lash extensions! This is something that had been on my mind for quite some time. I’m not really sure what kept me from doing it. But I’ll admit that I was a bit on the fence about it. After getting the opportunity to get my lash extension with The Lash lounge in Memorial Green, all I could think was, “why did it took me so long to do this?”
From the moment I walked in, my experience was great! The staff was welcoming, the lobby was clean and inviting. They walked me through the process they answer my questions and even offered some information upfront.
It’s no secret that I straighten my hair. I do it, not because I don’t love my curls, but because it is easier. Believe or not it is easier for me to deal with my hair straight, than to deal with my curls. And it probably has a lot to do with the fact that I haven’t found a product that my curls love! My straight hair, however, is loving my new hair tools by Anjou!
I have to admit that after turning thirty, I have become more conscious about my skin and I’m frequently trying to find ways to better care for it. It can be a tough to find the right products for women with more melanin like myself. Having found Avya, a line that was “designed to indulge all skin tones,” per the Huff Post has made an impact on my skincare routine with the use of only two products and in a short period of time.
I have been using the Anti-aging Power Serum and the Eye Bright Cream – for the last 7 days and I already love how my skin has started feel in such a short period of time.
Eye Bright Cream
My eyes have always been an area of concern, as I feel that there is a large amount of pigmentation around them. I have religiously used the Eye Bright Cream two times each day per instructions and with each use my eyes feel energized. Read More
Volume! So my hair has lots of it when it’s curly… But when I straighten it, not so much! When I heard about Rootie the Rootlifter by Voloom, I was intrigued. And when I got the chance to try it, I did a little happy dance. 🙂 I mean a solution to the lack of volume in my hair? Yes, please!
So, what’s Rootie? It’s a volumizing iron! It gives hair an instant and long lasting volume. It’s the perfect tool to add a volume to hair that is otherwise flat. Especially, when you have to skip the shampoo & need to revive those luscious locks. 😉 I’m leaving you the link to Voloom here for you to check it out and order it – this would make a great christmas gift. 😉
I have to admit that I didn’t have much of a skincare routine in place prior to trying out Saranghae. I supposed I had gotten used to trying a combination of products, as needed. But the fact that one line offers an entire system seemed appealing. Especially, since it is only a four step routine. The sheet mask is optional and not required every night – so I save it for nights when I need some pampering.
You’re curious now! And wonder what is Saranghae? It’s a Korean 5 Step Anti-Aging Routine comprised of
