Trendy Thursday LinkUp + Crushing on Burgundy and Bodysuits

Happy Friday Eve! How is November going for you? Though, the month just started I feel like the first few days have gone by so quickly… I mean Thanksgiving will be here in exactly two weeks! Truth is we still haven’t made plans. I don’t know what we will eat or wear. So, if you have any ideas, shoot them my way 😉 Now, about today’s look…. I have been crushing on bodysuits since the summer.

Fast forward to fall and I’m still loving them, and for a few good reasons. 1) I find them to be affordable. 2) It’s easy to put outfits together around them. 3) They’re perfect for layering. This bodysuit, for instance, I got for under $20 – yes, it is linked below. I love that it’s long sleeve, making it perfect to wear alone or layered. It fits nicely, has pretty button detail and the color is perfect for fall. What’s your go-to fall trend? Let me know in the comments below.

Wine Tunic and Distressed Denim

SHOP TOP HERE

Happy Friday eve y’all! Another week almost gone. Is it just me or did January fly by? Anyhow, today I’m sharing a boutique I stumble upon. I just love discovering new places to shop and sharing them with you, of course.

Today’s look is a casual-chic tunic in a wine color. I love my wine, even as a color. 😉 I love that you can dress up this tunic and dress it down too. While, I decided to pair it with distressed jeans, which by the way are the perfect length for this short girl. I also thought about wearing it with leggings for a more casual look. I really think either one would work.

The weather in Houston has been pretty perfect – thank God we’re over those cold fronts – so I brought out my favorite wedges and favorite handbag in nude to bring some neutral colors to the look. I’ve sharing links above for you to shop this look too.
