Back to school shopping has to be my favorite thing to do with Nayelli! We’ve been doing BTS shopping for five years now but this year is really special because Nalani is joining us! Yes, I will have two kids in school this time around and I’m experiencing all the feels 😔! She’s going into pre-school and I can hardly believe it. So, to get a head-start on our shopping, we headed to Burkes Outlet! If you remember, I’ve sharedmy favorite finds from a recent haul here before. And because I found some great deals on my last haul, I knew I had to keep Burkes at the top of my shopping list for back to school season.
I love being able to find on trend styles at affordable prices, this is why I turned to Burkes Outlet to help get their wardrobes ready for the new school year. The best part is being able to conveniently shop both online and in-store. This time we decided to do most of our back to school shopping in store and the girls loved it. It was such a fun experience. This store is relatively new to our area and I couldn’t be more excited to have a Burkes Outlet close by. 😃
So, October just started but the first week is already gone?! At this pace, Halloween will be here before we know it. Being the planner that I am, I got on Instagram to find cool items the littles could wear for the upcoming festivities! I really like using Instagram to find new shops. In fact, all the shops listed below I found on Instagram.
I just did a simple search for a few hashtags and ta-da. Luckily, you don’t have to do much searching. Just keep scrolling to learn where I find the cutest bows and graphic tees to get my littles ready to celebrate Halloween.
Hi, my name is Rose. I am starting second grade this year and soon will be seven years old. Today, I’m taking over the blog to share my favorite back to school outfits.
First, I want to thank Lilypop Baby for my bows. I love them all, the pretty colors on the rainbow bow, the glitter on the pink one and the silver touch on the blue one; which is also one of my favorite colors. 🙂 Keep scrolling to see how I styled my outfits with these pretty bows.
I also want to thank Little Hippie Threats for sending me two cute t-shirts, one that says Oh Grape and one that says Healthy Hippie – which you’ll see on social media. 😉 I just thought they were both so cute when I first saw them. The Big Rainbow bow I am wearing with this outfit I got at Claire’s and it’s from Jojo’s collection.
While it is true that being a stay-at-home mama gives me the flexibility to shop any day of the week and avoid the crowds. Sometimes, I wait until the weekend to do my shopping, like most normal people. Why? Because most deals are available on these days! Especially when it’s a holiday weekend.
In preparation for the Valentines Day school party, my oldest and I decided to do a DIY t-shirt. Our Valentine’s Day included quite a few DIYs! Did you check out the Backyard photo shoot I did with the girls?
Back to the t-shirt! I had seen a fairly easy tutorial on Pinterest. So, after looking over the instructions, we headed to Hobby Lobby for some supplies! And bought a Gildan brand Youth Small Short Sleeve T-Shirt and a Pink Fabric Creations Soft Fabric Ink.
