Making the wraps

You will need about four chicken breasts, panko bread crumbs and oil to make the crispy chicken. Coat the chicken with the bread crumbs according to the instructions on the package of your bread crumbs of choice – and fry until golden. You will also need tortilla wraps, cilantro (optional) and cheese – lots of it. šŸ˜‰

Delicious Shrimp with Peppery Sweet Corn Salsa Tacos

It’s Tasty Tuesday but also Taco Tuesday, so sharing a Shrimp Tacos recipe seemed appropriate. It had been a while since I had last attempted to make shrimp tacos. And this is by far my most favorite Shrimp Tacos recipe. The true star of today’s recipe is Kroger’s Peppery Sweet Corn Salsa. When I saw it on the shelf, it sounded too delicious to not take home with me. Though, I had not idea what I would do with it, I added it to my cart. While planning meals, I saw it in my pantry and thought it would add the perfect kick to the shrimp tacos I was planning to make.

I wasn’t wrong! This salsa added so much flavor to the shrimp, my husband who is the one from Mexican descent in our home loved them. And he can be as picky as my littles when it comes to food. But if he liked them, I thought the recipe was worth of sharing. I’ll get to the recipe now, I’m sure you’re sitting on the edge of your seat and ready to learn how to make this.

I guess it’s just that magical of a place – yes, I’m totally trying to persuade you to plan a trip there and then come back to tell me all about it. šŸ˜‰

Back to food. She loves tacos and every Tuesday says, “Mami, it’s Taco Tuesday!” I love tacos too but I don’t want to eat them on a weekly basisā€¦ Instead of Tacos, I offered to make nachos – my husband’s idea – and she gladly accepted. Not to say that she runs things around hereā€¦ But sometimes she wins, especially when I don’t have dinner pre-planned.

I came up with some delicious and super easy chicken nachos, using ingredients that I mostly had. On the Border Monterey Jack Queso, Tostitos hint of lime chips, Two chicken breasts, adobo, corn, and jalapeƱos.
