I still can’t believe that this year I have both girls in school. 😳 While this means double everything, I knew I’d save by shopping at Walmart! Not only that, but that I’d find the back to school styles they needed to start the year with confidence. It’s one of my favorite places for on-trend fashions, especially for BTS season. Knowing that I can count on finding quality items at affordable prices every time I shop there, also makes me confident about what I’m getting.
One of the items I always shop for either at my local store or online is denim. Because I can always find sizes for both girls and styles that they both love. Nalani goes through these crazy growth spurs and is always outgrowing the jeans that I buy her. Luckily, I can find fashionable jeans like these cute boot cut style jeans for under $10 to keep her closet stocked. This year I was also able to find assorted tees with adorable graphics. This tee is one of my favorite finds since it features the girls’ favorite, reversible sequins!
I’m glad I didn’t hesitate to turn to Walmart for some of our last minute shopping. It has everything kids want and need to go back to school with confidence, at low prices! Besides these stylish outfits, I was also able to pick up some school supplies that the girls were missing. And even a few grab-n-go lunch and snack essentials. It’s honestly the one stop shop no matter how you shop – in-stores or online. And their Free 2-Day Delivery and Next Day Delivery (available in some areas) is also a bonus. It makes it even easier to shop; I ordered everything I needed and got it within days.

When it comes to back to school, shopping for clothes with Nayelli is my favorite activity. I just love seeing how she lights up when she finds a piece that speaks to her style. I know that back to school is more than outfits, so I first shop for supplies, plan meals, etc… That way when all that is done, we can have some real fun shopping for outfits – it’s like a reward for us!
This year we did our shopping at OshKosh B’gosh, where we found many items that matched Nayelli’s personality; from fun graphic tees to cool jeans. While she is very stylish, I always suggest items that I think she will love and guide her on how to wear a single piece different ways. This allows her to feel that she has a say when it comes to her style. She really enjoys putting outfits together and had a lot of fun shopping at OshKosh, because she was able to mix and match pieces to create unique outfits. You can see how she used the same denim skirt and created two different looks.
Hi, my name is Rose. I am starting second grade this year and soon will be seven years old. Today, I’m taking over the blog to share my favorite back to school outfits.
First, I want to thank Lilypop Baby for my bows. I love them all, the pretty colors on the rainbow bow, the glitter on the pink one and the silver touch on the blue one; which is also one of my favorite colors. 🙂 Keep scrolling to see how I styled my outfits with these pretty bows.
I also want to thank Little Hippie Threats for sending me two cute t-shirts, one that says Oh Grape and one that says Healthy Hippie – which you’ll see on social media. 😉 I just thought they were both so cute when I first saw them. The Big Rainbow bow I am wearing with this outfit I got at Claire’s and it’s from Jojo’s collection.
