Trendy Thursday LinkUp + Favorite (TOUS) Summer Bag

Confession: I almost skipped this week’s Trendy Thursday LinkUp… Because life is super busy right now. I have so much going on and so much to tell… And I will be sharing in due time. For now, let’s just focus on today’s link up. 🙂 Remember Shop Maia Lifestyle Shop which I shared on this post? Well, this gorgeous OTS top is also from the boutique. While I know I said I love the OTS top I shared a few weeks ago – and I still do – I love this one even more. I love, love, love the details; from the floral cut out to the OTS style to the bell sleeves.

Another item, I have been loving is my TOUS handbag… Isn’t it gorgeous? I am loving the color and see-through effect. It reminds me of the wooden handbags that are trending these summer days. The good thing about this one, is that it can be worn beyond summer. Plus, there’s a zipper canvas that goes inside the bags in this collection to help keep belongings neatly in place. This color is on sale and under $160 right now. If you want to get your hands on one, now is the time. 🙂

Trendy Thursday LinkUp + OTS Front Tie Top

OTS Tops are one of my favorite styles. Especially in the summer – they really are my go to. And this cute OTS front tie top is from a small boutique that I stumble upon on Instagram. What I found to be such a fun coincidence is that the owner is also from Panama. When I learned that, I was so honored to be able to work together and bring her styles to y’all. I am linking the exact top below and I want to leave the link to Shop Maia is here for you to check out too. 🙂

Bamboo bags are also a summer favorite! There’s just something about the craftsmanship of a woven straw bag that draws me to them. I would always search and add them to my wishlist, but it wasn’t until this summer that I decided to get one. I love the one I picked out! The earrings I’m wearing here have also being on repeat. I got these beauties at World Market for under $20 – I’m linking them below too. 😉

Last Week’s Favorites were:

Savvy Southern Chic

I love the outfit – and the shoes. I mean purple and olive looks so good together. And did you know Purple was the color of the year? Read more about it over on her blog.

Mommy in Flats

I love her casual look in this post but her style is so trendy and can make look chic. She does a 5×5 challenge and comes up with the best looks – give her a follow on Instragram to check it out.

Five Friday Favorite – Spring to Summer Handbags

Spring Break is fast approaching and so is our trip to Mexico – WooHoo!! This means that I have a long list of Spring wants and I thought it would be fun to share a few of handbags that I have my eye on with you.

ONE | TWO | THREE | FOUR | FIVE

  1. The Ark Bamboo Bag is not a new item, it has been trending since last summer. And that’s the funny thing about fashion. While some items come and go, other come and never quite leave. I got my hands on one for me trip already and have linked it for you below.
  2. The Bamboo Shoulder Bag I have seen around a bit and I am tempted to get one but it’s so similar to the Ark Bamboo Bag that I am not sure yet.
  3. The Straw Taco Clutch would be perfect, I mean I will be in Mexico – home of the taco. 🙂 I love that this style is a clutch and the bright color.
  4. Speaking of bright color, what about the Tassel Cross Body Bag? Isn’t it perfect? I love how colorful it is and it would make the perfect summer accessory…
  5. Finally the Circle Straw Crossbody Bag. This one seems to be built to last years, which means it could be a great investment piece.

Decision, decision… Which one would you get? Leave me a comment below with your favorite. 😉

Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale Picks

Hey, you! Happy Hump Day. We made it to the middle of the week. Or as we say in Spanish, el hombligo de la semana!! Instead of sharing a look with you I wanted to take advantage that Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale is going on to share a few of my favorite picks for this coming fall.

Though I don’t shop at Nordstrom as often as I’d like – because let’s face it I can only afford items that go on sale… I do ALWAYS have items on my wish-list. While browsing I found some cute blouses, cardis, handbags and shoes. All items – except for one – are under $100 and most are unde $50. Go ahead and take a peek.

Nordstrom's Anniversary Sale Blouses

  1. GEO PATTERN SQUARE SCARF – This scarf is perfect for the fall, when it’s not cold enough for a coat.
  2. V-NECK PULLOVER – This pullover looks so comfortable, I’d probably live in it all fall and winter.
  3. HIGH TIE NECK BLOUSE – I love the color and print on this blouse to transition from summer to fall.
  4. OFF THE SHOULDER BLOUSE – Because long sleeve off shoulder blouses are totally doable in the fall.
  5. RIB STITCH CARDIGAN – Cardigans are a must, because they’re so easy to style.
  6. MOTO JACKET – I don’t own a leather jacket (yet) and this one is the best I’ve seen by far. It may actually make it to my closet.
