PANAMA is a place that still has my heart! Even after moving away at age 12 and living abroad for almost 20 years, it still feels like home. I’ve only visited about 7 times since moving away, and somehow the connection is still there. Today marks the beginning of nearly an entire month of celebration due to Fiestas Patrias (the equivalent of July 4th here). In honor of Mi Patria, I wanted to share some photos that my friend Karen – one of the creators behind Cronos Films & Save the Date – shot in the historic district of Casco Viejo in Panama.
The last time I took pictures in Panama, my littlest was still in my belly. That visit was special because it was Alanzo’s first visit ever and Nayelli’s second. The photos (also done by Karen) were a mix of trying to capture my pregnancy and documenting our first trip to Panama as a family. Alanzo and I, have visited once more since but it was almost two year ago; you can read about our trip here. This time I traveled alone, which I haven’t done in years. And it seemed like a great opportunity to shoot some looks to share with you. Did you catch this Camo look that I shared on Instagram?
Christmas is almost here! If you’re a last minute shopper and still searching for something to give the camera owners on your list – you have to check out MOD Straps. They offer stylish and functional camera accessories. Not only is this scarf super pretty but also a lot more comfortable than the strap that came with it.
I love that simply adding this scarf to my camera was an easy way to personalize it. I take my camera everywhere and have gotten so many compliments already. Since I truly take it everywhere, I needed something that was comfortable for on my neck but also able to hold the weight of my camera.
This camera scarf definitely passed the test! So if you’re thinking about getting one, hurry so that you can get it in time for Christmas. If you want to buy this exact camera scarf, keep scrolling, I’ve linked it below. 😉
Last year we bought a Sony Alpha 6000 and it is the best camera I have ever had. I have used it for parties, vacations, daily adventures, and my personal favorite, at home photo shoot. I have also done mini sessions with my iPhone (I might share these at a later time) but I love my camera.
With Valentine’s day approaching, I decided to do an impromptu photoshoot of my littles. It was super easy to set up and it took under an hour to photograph both girls, together and separate. You can do the same with these simple steps.
