Trendy Thursday LinkUp + My Favorite Levi’s Shorts

Happy Summer y’all! So it’s Memorial Day Weekend… So, I assume y’all have some awesome plans lined up. 🙂 We – as always – are still thinking about what to do. Either way,  Speaking of Levi’s I wanted to share my favorite pair with you guys. These are hands down the favorite pair of denim shorts I own. Though I have a pair of Target shorts that I love too. These are under $40 and I just love the fit and details like the buttons instead of zipper and that they’re torn are the hem.

I have worn them quite a bit – especially over on Instagram – since buying them. And for this look I wanted to show them off with this cute leave print button down shirt. I bought it at a local boutique but have linked similar styles from around the web. I paired it with the espadrilles that have been my go-to lately, because they just seem to go with everything and are pretty comfortable. The bag is one my favorites and perfect for spring and summer; I’m linking everything below, the Levi’s shorts, bag, espadrilles and similar tops. 😉

Four Trends that You can Wear Now and in the Summer

SHOP SHORTS HERE

Happy Monday you guys. I don’t usually post on Mondays but today’s post is special because we are celebrating Ada’s birthday with a special link up! Make sure to check it out below and see what other bloggers sharing. Today’s outfit is a fun one! It involves four trends that you can wear now and in the summer; off-the-shoulders tops, paper-bag shorts, espadrilles and straw bags. This is the perfect combination for both spring and summer!

I have been doing a little bit of shopping at Burkes Outlet; and found the cutest romper which I shared on Instagram a few days ago along with these fun paper-bag shorts. I thought they would look perfect with this off-the-shoulders top. Even though you have seen this combination before – on this post – I had to share it again. I guess I just love the way off-the-shoulder tops and the paper-bag style looks together. 🙂

Espadrilles and straw accessories are also my go-to when the weather warms up. I got this bag online for under $40 last year, and I have to say that it was a great buy. I have worn it so many times and it’s back in stock, in case you’re looking for a similar bag. The espadrilles, I’m loving because they’re super light and comfy unlike a pair that owned before. The statement earrings, I also shared before and I have been wearing them so much lately. I love that they’re handmade, and each one is somehow unique. I think they would make the perfect gift too, so if you’re interested click over to Audra Style. I’m linking the entire look below in case that you see something that you want to buy! 😉

Trendy Thursday LinkUP + The Blue Stripes Dress that’s Perfect for Spring

It’s dress season you ladies! But really, does anyone else love wearing dresses in Spring? I do and luckily I have been finding some great options at very affordable prices. I found this blue stripes dress on Amazon for under $20. While I know that shopping at Amazon can be a hit or miss, I think this was a good buy. The fabric is similar to linen, the print is eye catching and the details – like the buttons are just so cute. I also love the sleeves, deep v-neckline and the open back.

This dress is so darling and perfect for brunch or even a fund dinner date. I usually lean towards neutrals and simple accessories but the dress could also be accessorized with more colorful tones. 🙂 The handbag, I have shared several times now, it’s become my go-to and everyday bag. The block heel sandals are my favorite because of how comfortable they are. I am linking everything as usual and then some additional dresses that I have my eye on. 😉

Trendy Thursday LinkUP + Belted Shirt Dress for a Day in City

Hi guys! Easter is already this weekend, which means we are also closer to the end of April… Wow time is going by so fast. Before signing off for the weekend, I wanted to share this super fun shirt dress that I picked up while doing a round of returns and exchanges. Funny, huh? I’m supposed to return and exchange but end up bringing new items home. No wonder my husband teases me by saying, “you must have had another credit for what you just bought!” 🙂

So, this dress comes in two colors; this olive tone and black. I love that it has ruffles at the sleeves, it’s such a feminine touch. The fact that it ties in the front is perfect because it helps accentuate the waist. I paired this darling dress with the wedges I bought for $20 and shared on my last post. 🙂 I don’t know about you but I love finding dupes and these are so similar to the ones here that I felt like I hit the jackpot! 😛 The fun bagI also picked up while running my errands and I don’t regret it because I think it will be the perfect accessory to wear through summer. I’m linking all items below as always! 😉

Trendy Thursday LinkUP + Paper Bag Jeans Trend

Paperbag pants are the latest trend and one that I could totally get behind. 🙂 I picked up this pair recently and I’m glad I decided to buy them because they sold out within days. Don’t worry, I have found some very similar pairs (even a pair of shorts) and I am linking them all below! I think this paperbag waist is just perfect and quite the feminine touch. 🙂

I thought I’d pair the jeans with a OTS top, since it is one of my favorite styles once the weather warms up. I got this top last year but managed to find a few similar tops for you to check out and shop as well. The wedges were a no brainer because espadrilles are my go-to this season. This pair is the dupe (as just $20) to the Sannibel Platform Wedge Sandal which costs $75. I have to admit that Walmart is definitely stepping up their game in the style department; I’ve found some great styles there lately.
