Chenille… Did you get any this winter? I did! I mean, this is one of the softest fabrics there is when it comes to clothing, so why wouldn’t I? At first I wasn’t sure if I’d add any to my closet but when I saw this sweater I caved. I love the fabric, like I’ve said but there’s also something about this color and how rich it is that I had to get the sweater. I don’t love winter but I do love some of the styles that come with it… and besides chenille, I have been obsessing over booties. This black pair has been my go-to all season long.
Speaking of go-to, these Levi’s jeans are also on the list. I have worn these over and over again. They’re at a higher price point but it’s one of those pieces that are worth the money. I am linking all the items on today’s look below for you to check out. 😉 I hope you have a great weekend; and I’ll see you next week!
Happy 2019! I’m back from vacation and sharing my favorite ways to wear a turtleneck. 🙂 I hope you got to follow along on our family adventure in Florida. While, I’m not one to brag, I have to admit that it was a dream vacay, friends, family, beach days, sunny days, etc…
Now, I’m ready to get back to work and I’m kicking off 2019 with this fun how-to post. Three looks with one item in common, the turtleneck. I got it last month and have been wearing it quite a bit. So, I thought it would be good to share THREE ways you could style it. I am also linking the one I purchased along with other similar options below, so keep scrolling.
Turtleneck + High-waisted Jeans
The first look is probably my favorite! It is similar to the third look and quite the classic combination, but I just love how black and white contrast. Plus, I am absolutely obsessed with these high-waisted jeans and I’ll take any excuse to wear them. I wore lighter earrings and a tan bag to add even more contrast to the look but making an effort to remain neutral.
Dressing the family for the holidays can be a challenge. But don’t panic, today my little one is taking over the blog to share styles that little girls can wear through winter! They are holiday styles from two of her favorite stores; Crazy 8 and Gymboree! She loves keeping it casual but will occasionally dresses up. These versatile styles can be worn over and over again!
So we love shopping at these stores, because their versatile styles allow her to show her personality through what she wears. The first look she put together without much effort; a jumpsuit which is on trend and slides which are her go to because she can quickly slide them on and go. She’s not big on accessories but she picked this necklace and has been wearing it quite a bit.
The second look is more casual, she loves her jeans! And I did help her a bit on this one. While she picked the crop sweater and jeans, I suggested she’s add some sparkle with the bronze booties. She accessorized this look with a festive bow. If you have little ones, you should check out both stores, they often have sales that make it easy to get their fun styles at a discount. 😉
Welcome back! I hope your Christmas was great. Today, I’m sharing a sweater that I’m loving because of its ruffles. I have said it before, there’s something about ruffles that add a feminine touch to any outfit. So I’ve been wearing garments with ruffles all year. The fact that I can still wear ruffles in the winter makes me so happy.
