Trendy Thursday LinkUp + A Holiday Outfit Idea

Hello! How was your Thanksgiving? You may have noticed I took off. And completely slacked on my posting duties last week… I’m back and from now until the end of the year, I plan to be here for our weekly Trendy Thursday LinkUp! 😉 Today I wanted to share a holiday outfit idea with you. I picked up the sweater top at a local boutique, so I’m linking similar pieces since I don’t have a direct link. I am however linking the jeans, booties (which are under $35) and clutch.

I don’t know about you, but I don’t usually dress up for Christmas. My family and I, dress nice but we don’t go all out until New Years. So, I wanted to share a look that would be authentic to what I’d actually wear. And hope that some of you would identify and be inspired.

We spent Thanksgiving in Colorado, which is where my photographer a.k.a. hubby took these photos. I had seen photos of this hotel and knew it would make for the perfect backdrop. The lighting a bit different from most photos but I guess it’s a bit gloomier northwest of Texas. Either way, I hope you enjoy this post and again, walk away with a better idea of what you could wear for your upcoming holiday parties. 🙂
