A Special Mother’s Day Spring Colors

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms who celebrate today. Truth is that being from Panama, I mainly celebrate this especial day on December 8th. But because I have been living here over 10 years, I have also embraced celebrating in May. I suppose I am lucky to be able to celebrate twice a year. 🙂

This is my 9th Mother’s Day and it’s just as special as the first. Every year on this date, I feel blessed to have been able to embark on the great adventure that motherhood has been for me. I feel so honored to be able to raise my two girls. While, it’s not always easy, it’s my favorite thing to do. I’m not the best mom in the world but to them I am and it fills my heart with joy.

Motherhood has been a learning curve! And to my surprise, I’ve learned the most from my little ones. They have taught me to pause and enjoy the little things. I’ve learned that patience is a must. And that it’s ok to break the rules sometimes. Most importantly they have taught me what unconditional love is. These little one love so hard and I look up to them for that.
