Trendy Thursday LinkUp + Classic Chic Pieces You Should Own

You guys, as a mom I’m constantly on-the-go and for that reason I always try to have pieces that can be paired to make casual chic outfits. With that said, I also try to have pieces that are affordable. Lately, I’ve been finding some great pieces at SheIn.

This silk-ish button up shirt for example at under $15. I’ve worn and washed it a few times and it’s still intact. I say this in case that you’re wondering what the quality is like at such a low price. Personally, I think a button up is a must. I have probably said it before too. But it’s one of those wardrobe prices that can be worn time and time again.

Another item that I feel is a must, is a good pair of jeans. These high waisted mom jeans, are from Target and my absolute go-to. They fit so comfortable and at just $20, I think they’re a great deal. Plus, they come in short and long options, which to me is amazing – yes, I’m a shortie!

Finally, mules are an item I didn’t know how much would come in handy. This pair have been me favorite sandal since getting them. They go with just about anything, dress them up or down, they’re just so versatile. And I recommend having a pair or two, printed or solid.

Trendy Thursday LinkUp + Five Colors I’m Loving for Fall

While Fall weather is practically non-existent here… There are a few trends and colors that I am loving for the change in season. Rust Orange is one of them! And truly one of the most perfect colors for fall – in my opinion. This particular bodysuit is from Lulus and while it quickly sold out, I just saw that it was restocked last night. So, if you like it, run and grab it before it’s gone again. Mauve, a softer color is also quickly becoming a favorite. Last week I shared a Mauve blouse, another Lulu’s find and color that I am totally crushing on. The link to the blouse is below, that way you can check it out.

Other colors Im loving for fall are deep reds, classic creams and yellows, which you will see a bit of around here and on Instagram. I’m loving also loving snakeskin…. a trend that I was happy to stand behind last year. And glad that is back this year. This pair I’ve had since last fall but they’re so good and on-trend that I had to bring them out again. For you, I am linking a few similar options that I’ve rounded up from around the web. 😉

Trendy Thursday LinkUp + Crushing on Mauve and Lulu’s Styles

Happy Thursday! I have to say that even though I’m as SAHM, I am SO glad we are closer to the weekend… Anyone else? 🙋🏽‍♀️ I’ve been dying to share some goodies that I got from Lulus with you. This gorgeous surplice mauve blouse is one of them. I am absolutely crushing on this color and think it’s perfect for fall, even though it’s on a lighter color scheme. 😃 Quite honestly, I feel that you could probably wear this one through the seasons. I paired it with one of my favorite pair of jeans, but I think it would also go perfectly with a denim skirt, black skinnies or even white pants, if you’re the type to wear white after Labor Day. 😛

The snakeskin sandals are also from Lulus and because the weather here allows for sandals nearly year round, I had to add them to my list of must-haves. So don’t be shocked if you see them here more than once. Below I am sharing a few other picks from my recent haul. The rest of the items in my look are also linked below. Take a look and decide what you want to buy. 😃

Trendy Thursday LinkUp + My Favorite Band Graphic Tee

Graphic Tees are one of my favorites to collect; along with sunglasses, watches and earrings. 😜 On a serious note though, I love a good graphic tee because they are so easy to wear. You can just kind of throw one on and go #momwin! The best part is that they are super versatile, you can dress them up or down. Yes! I’m talking sneakers to heels.

The latest addition to my collection of graphic tees is this Guns N Roses tee. I  have to say that it runs small, so sizing up is highly recommended. But it is worth buying because I have already styled it so many different ways – which I failed to capture on camera. But I may re-wear a few just to share them with you throughout my social profiles. I am linking a handful of band graphic tees that I’ve rounded up too. So make sure to take a peek in case something catches your eye. 😉

Trendy Thursday LinkUp + The First Fall Outfit (a Momiform)

No! I am not quite ready to transition into fall but because I know many of you are, I thought I’d share a Fall-ish (momiform) look this week. I thought this lightweight sweater would be perfect for a few reasons; it’s my favorite, I have it in two colors and it’s under $20! I have it in two colors and have wore it a few times this summer. Since the fabric is so breezy, I think I’ll keep wearing it into fall. For this look I paired with ripped jeans, because I’m in the middle of summer and fall still… Also, wore my new favorite flats which are super comfortable.

Since motherhood calls for so many errands, this is the look I wore this week to tackle a few things on my to-do list while the girls were in school. Yes, they’re both in school now. 🙁 So I have all this time to myself… Who would’ve thought I’d miss having them home so much?! In all fairness it’s only week two of school, so maybe I’ll adjust by the end of the first month – stay tuned for an update. 🙂 I am linking every piece of my look below as always, so that you can get details and shop. Now tell me, what’s a must have in your momiform?

SHOP THE LOOK

Back to School Styles for Girls at Walmart

This post is sponsored by Walmart but the content and opinions expressed here are my own.

I still can’t believe that this year I have both girls in school. 😳 While this means double everything, I knew I’d save by shopping at Walmart! Not only that, but that I’d find the back to school styles they needed to start the year with confidence. It’s one of my favorite places for on-trend fashions, especially for BTS season. Knowing that I can count on finding quality items at affordable prices every time I shop there, also makes me confident about what I’m getting.

One of the items I always shop for either at my local store or online is denim. Because I can always find sizes for both girls and styles that they both love. Nalani goes through these crazy growth spurs and is always outgrowing the jeans that I buy her. Luckily, I can find fashionable jeans like these cute boot cut style jeans for under $10 to keep her closet stocked. This year I was also able to find assorted tees with adorable graphics. This tee is one of my favorite finds since it features the girls’ favorite, reversible sequins!

SHOP OUTFITS

I’m glad I didn’t hesitate to turn to Walmart for some of our last minute shopping. It has everything kids want and need to go back to school with confidence, at low prices! Besides these stylish outfits, I was also able to pick up some school supplies that the girls were missing. And even a few grab-n-go lunch and snack essentials. It’s honestly the one stop shop no matter how you shop – in-stores or online. And their Free 2-Day Delivery and Next Day Delivery (available in some areas) is also a bonus. It makes it even easier to shop; I ordered everything I needed and got it within days.

You can find all these Walmart back to school styles via LiketoKnow.it. Just make sure to follow me there for all product details!
