Cheetos Crusted Elotes; Houston Rodeo Inspired Food

Who doesn’t love corn on the cob?! I love corn, period. But there’s something about corn on the cob. While I see elotes as corn on steroids, they are a fair food favorite. And this Cheetos Crusted Elotes recipe brings the traditional recipe to another level of yumminess.

Not only are elotes a well known Mexican street food, they are also a fair food favorite in Texas. You don't exactly have to go to a fair to have these.

Even though, it involves a handful of ingredients, it’s not much different from making corn on the cob. The ingredients include mayonnaise, garlic powder, parmesan cheese, cilantro, chopped, chili powder, lime and crushed Cheetos.

To cook the corn, you can bake them using these instructions. Once cooked and cool, you will spread garlic powder and mayonnaise mix on each cob. Place cheese on a plate, roll corn in the cheese and sprinkle with cilantro and chili powder.

Cut lime wedges to squeeze over the corn. And enjoy!
