Hello! Today I’m talking about family photos and this gorgeous lace accent top from Pink Blush. I absolutely love the lace detail on this top and thought it would be perfect for the family photo session I had been planning for weeks. This top is available in other colors including the most gorgeous red, which I think would be perfect for a holiday party.
What I also like about this top that is the way it fits – like tunic. It’s really a maternity top but you can see how I styled it, just imagine how flattering it would also be on a mama-to-be.
About our family photos… This is one of those things that I have a love/hate relationship with. I love the idea of getting new family photos, but getting ready for them and getting the family on the same page can be equally stressful. Having planned this shoot weeks in advanced did take out some of the stress out of it; along with the fact that it was DIY session. I would have been more stressed if I had to worry about my girls’ behavior in front of a professional photographer. 🙂
We picked out outfits, a location, brought my camera and tripod and ta-da – we have family photos. I love denim, so my husband and girls are wearing theirs, I thought my top was a good contrast, especially with the hints of pink on my littlest’s dress. Not that you can see it very well on these photos but it’s there, I promise.
