Christmas is next week and if you’re looking for quick and easy last minute holiday nails art ideas, I got you covered! These peppermint christmas nails are an easy DIY nail design. You don’t need any special tools, and the only nail polish colors that you will need – red and white – are shades that you probably already have in your home. Having your nails painted with a festive design and adding dainty rings can instantly make you feel ready for the holidays.
I love doing my own nails, so I often explore Pinterest for nail art ideas. When I saw these, I knew I had to give them a try. Truth is, that any nail design that can be made with dots is likely a design that I will try and recommend. Since the beginning of this month I have tried two designs. These peppermint nails and a Christmas wreath design, both designs are made up of dots.
Below I also included a few photos of the wreath nail design for you to see. While I did fail you by not recording a tutorial like I have done in the past. I am fully confident that you will be able to take a look at the design and do it yourself. I’m telling you that it’s too easy to work with nail designs that are made up of dots. Especially because no special tools are required, in fact, I only used a bobby pin because its head makes the most perfect dots.
Peppermint Nails Steps
For these peppermint design, you will have to dip the bobby pin’s head in the red nail polish. You will then make dots all along the edge of your nail leaving a space in between each red dot. This is where the white dots will go. Once the red dots have dried, go back and fill the spaces that you left by making dots with the white nail polish. After the white dots dry, use your favorite clear nail polish to seal and protect the design. And your design should look something like my nails below. Trust me that you will love these and once you add accessories like dainty rings, you will feel so festive.
