Summer time is here and school is almost out. You have probably been looking at destinations for your next vacation. And if you are thinking of escaping to a place that includes a pool, lake or beach, you will want to read on, because I am sharing my favorite swimwear hack for your upcoming vacations.
First let me indulge you with the story behind the skirt in today’s post. Like you are right now, I was planning a vacation and decided to make an online purchase. Among my picks was my super cute asymmetrical skirt. I had an idea of how I’d like to wear it. I had thought out the entire outfit; a top, sandals, handbag and accessories. Honestly once it arrived in the mail and I tried it on, I didn’t love how the outfit came together.
So, I started thinking of alternate ways to wear the skirt. While trying on different tops, I paused and took a look at how the skirt looked with a bralette that I had on. That is where the idea to wear it as a cover up came from. It may be true that we purchase specific items for specific occasions. But who is to say that items can’t be worn in more versatile ways? For instance, wearing one piece swimsuits as bodysuits, a quite a popular hack. So I went with it, and have worn this cute skirt as a cover up on a few occasions.
