Does anyone else love to travel but hate to pack? I’m heading to Florida next week and I had no idea what to take along. So I took a long hard look through my closet and after two days, I found a few options – some new, some old. π
This hat is the first item I planned on packing. Over on stories last week, I shared a try-on haul and this hat was one of my favorite pieces. It’s prefect for the season and a fun accessory if you ask me. Other accessories I plan to bring along include headbands which have been trending and I don’t see going away anytime soon. A crossbody bag because it’s the best option when you need to keep your hands free for passport, luggage, etc…
As far as shoes go, booties are also coming along because they’re comfortable and versatile. I know it’s Florida but I’ll be on the north west side, so the weather should allow for booties. Plus, this snake print bootie is one of the newest pair in my closet and I just can’t leave them behind. Tennis shoes are also a must because I travel best in flat shoes, though I’m considering wearing slides to move quicker through the security check points.
I’m bringing a handful of sweaters that I can style with jeans and the cutest slip skirt. I’m taking a faux leather Jacket because they’re stylish and perfect for when you’re in between temperatures. A jean jacket because it’s perfect for just about any airport outfit. π I know this doesn’t sound like a lot but let’s just say I had to upgrade from the carry-on… I try to keep it as simple as possible like on this last trip but I needed a little extra this time.

It is difficult to pack for a trip, especially if itβs a place youβve never been before. My biggest concern is whether I have clothing appropriate for the weather. And yet I usually want to pack light. These two needs are often at odds. I hope you have a wonderful trip!

It looks like your packed for a week in Wisconsin not Florida. JK, I know you live in a warm climate so you have a different viewpoint on what is considered cold weather. Iβd be packing shorts and flip flops, but we Wisconsinites think itβs summer when itβs 60 degrees out. π such cute looks though. Love the graphics tee and booties. Also, love seeing my long time blogger friend Ellie featured here!
These are such cute items! I love that headscarf! Hope you have fun on your trip π

Good choices! I don’t know where in Florida you’ll be, but I definitely suggest midi skirts, dresses, and light jackets. It’ll be quite warm there even though it’s winter, and while it’s handy to have those jackets around, you won’t want to have them all the time. Lightweight layers is key, with comfy shoes and little-to-no accessories! π
All of this looks so perfect for your trip to Florida! I hope you have a great trip!

I absolutely despise packing! Which is why I prefer to travel by car because then I can take as much as I want! Have a great trip!
